| Beschrijving | The BA (Hons) Degree is an Open University validated programme. It is aimed at those preparing for long-term cross-cultural mission service and who appreciate the balance of practical and academic study. The first year of study is the foundational route 1 programme. The second year of study is the Diploma programme. In the final year you study one core module and continue to benefit from the choice of optional specialist area modules. You will also choose a church placement or practical ministry project, and benefit from a range of practical courses on offer. All students on the Degree programme will be required to complete a three week supervised placement to gain experience in a cross-cultural environment. Overall, this programme will enable you to develop communication skills and the ability to analyse, evaluate and design suitable approaches to diverse cultural contexts. |

| Verplichte Cursussen | The Degree is an open access programme. The recommended minimum age of entry is 21 years. However the College will consider applicants who are 19 years old provided they meet the admissions criteria. Normally you should have a minimum of two ‘A’ level equivalents or relevant vocational experience. For those for whom English is not a first language, proof of English skills will also be required (IELTS - 6.0 or Cambridge Advanced at C grade or above). It is possible to complete the BA Hons Degree programme in two years providing you are in possession of an honours bachelor degree (or equivalent) in any subject, or have 120 CAT points from an accredited Bible College. For this two year option those for whom English is not a first language will be required to have an IELTS score of 6.0 or Cambridge - Advanced C grade or above. |
