Morling Theological College
Welkom bij Morling Theological College
At Morling College we are committed to the Gospel ministry, whether it be pastoral, missional or people taking their biblical knowledge into secular work environments.
The dynamics of our culture are rapidly changing. Today's theological and Bible college graduates live and minister in a global environment whose issues continually grow more complex. As well, the opportunities for ministry in the marketplace change and broaden. In this environment one needs a theological education that is Biblically sound, and equips us to minister at the cutting edge.
Studying the Bible lies at the heart of all Morling College courses. It is the foundation of our knowledge of God and our Christian service. We believe a sound evangelical knowledge of God, through Biblical, theological and historical study is essential for sharing and living out the gospel of Jesus Christ in today's world.
Morling College courses equip students for pastoral ministry, evangelism and global mission, counselling, youth and children's ministry, postgraduate theological studies and teacher education.
Morling College does more than train men and women from Baptist churches or to minister in Baptist churches. In recent years many people, including those from other denominations, have expressed a desire to study in the College without feeling a call to the Baptist ministry in Australia or overseas. Some are interested in missionary societies, some in youth or children’s work, some in working in overseas aid and some in interdenominational or para-church ministry of various kinds. Others enter College unclear about the specific ministry God has for them but desire to train at the highest possible level. Whichever path a student travels, Morling College aims to equip them to impact their world.
Our motto is Summa Supremo, which means 'our best for the Highest'. Our aim is to know God and to train people to serve God.
