Pwani International Christian College

Situated along Nyali Road off Mombasa-Malindi road at Nados, just across the Nyali Bridge, Pwani International College was begun as Pwani Bible Institute in 1972 by a Canadian missionary Rev. Frank Frew. His was to establish an institution which would not only train men and women in the Christian faith, But also make sure that Christians in the Kenyan Coast were well versed in their understanding of the Bible and its historical significance in the history of Mankind. He knew that those who were going to serve as Christ's ambassadors needed to be well versed in their faith. The institute started by giving diplomas in pastoral and bible ministries. To this end, it has trained over 700 pastors and church workers from Kenya, Uganda, Ethiopia and Southern Sudan. Currently our courses are as follows: 1. Certificate in Theology for all people not necessarily those training for pastoral ministry. 2. Diploma in Theology for those training for pastoral ministry. 3. Degree in Theology (four year program with a three months internship program)-To begin in September 2012.
