Prerequisite Programmes Applicants will normally have completed Level 5 before entering Level 6. If not, they should have an appropriate standard of English, if this is not their first language. If this is the case, they will be required to sit the IELTS (Academic) test. The New Zealand Qualifications Authority requires an average pass of 6.0 (with no part lower than 5.5) for international students wishing to enrol in the Diploma in Intercultural Studies programme.
Other Prerequisites International students wishing to enrol at the college can apply for student visas. Please be in contact with the college while you do this. This process can be quite slow sometimes, so allow plenty of time. Student visas are only granted by the government after the fees for the duration of the visa have been paid to the college in full.
