Description | This course will familiarize the student with the basic texts that are the building blocks of Judaism. A study of the role and function of Oral Torah with readings in the “Mishnah??? and “Gomorra???. This course will also examine parallels and polemics between Rabbinic literature and the New Testament, as well as addressing the question of how the New Testament fits into the spectrum of Jewish literature. |
