Description Knowledge of the major religions of the world is critical not only to understand global affairs but also numerous local issues. Many regions of Canada have become distinctly multicultural and, often, this includes religious diversity. This course will provide students with a basic understanding of Judaism, Islam, Hinduism, Sikhism, Buddhism, Confuscianism and Taoism. Students will have the opportunity to evaluate their impact on both Canadian society and global affairs and develop a strategy for witnessing to the adherents of these non-Christian traditions.
