| Description | The four-year educational program is designed to adequately prepare and equip students who will be serving in specific places linked to the cultures mentioned in our Mission Statement. The population of Moldova is made up of Romanians, Russians, Ukrainians, Gagauzs, Bulgarians and other nationalities existing in smaller numbers. Thus, the teaching is done in Romanians for Romanian students and in Russian for Russian, Ukranian, and Bulgarian students. In addition, the Gagauz population makes up a substantial portion of the population in Moldova. The Gagauz language is similar to the Turkish language and is spoke in such countries as Turkey, Azerbaigean, Kirghizia, Kazahstan, Uzbekistan, Turkmenistan. Hence, the College of Theology and Education has opened up a special section for the training of students to minister to these populations. Professors of the Gagauz nationality who are graduates of the Oradea "Emanuel" Bible Institute and graduates from the Theological Institute are invited to teach in Turkish. The College of Theology and Education also works with Bible Colleges from Tashkent, Bishkek, and Alma-Ata in order to provide quality missions education to students enrolled in the missions program. God has created special circumstances so the College of Theology and Education is now in a strategic position to reach this specific population with the Gospel of Jesus Christ. It is the vision of the College to use all available resources and train all necessary personnel in order to reach believers in the Muslim religion and bring them to a saving knowledge of Jesus Christ. |
