Description A study of the most important theme known to humankind-knowing God. A biblical theology of sanctification will provide the foundation for every principle for living the Christian life presented-both personal and social. Personal issues such as spiritual growth, temptation, the function of the Law, the means of grace and the character of faith will be examined. Varying viewpoints among Christians will be noted. The course also considers the biblical approach to such social aspects of sanctification as life and death, war and peace, church and state, wealth and poverty and race questions. The goal of the course is to discover how God has planned to remake us like Christ, and to commit ourselves to godliness in today's world.
