Description Radius International offers an intense 10-month course to equip cross-cultural workers to plant healthy, reproducing churches among unreached language groups. To closely resemble what the students are likely to encounter on the field, the training center is located in in a cross-cultural environment. Since the message of the Gospel is so vital and important, it must be clearly communicated which can be frequently difficult and there by misunderstood in cross-cultural settings. This is why Culture and Language Acquisition (CLA) is an essential part of Radius' training. We train our students to learn how to speak clearly and to fully understand the culture they are ministering within so they can adequately assess what is being heard and believed. The Radius curriculum is taught by long-term missionaries who have succeeded in communicating the Gospel cross-culturally and planting churches. In addition to our faculty, Radius invites guest lecturers such as Gracia Burnham, George Walker from New Tribes Missions, Michele Gennaro from AIM and Nathan Graves from Christar. Radius is a training organization, not a sending agency. As such, Radius partners with churches and mission agencies to provide strong candidates. Please visit www.radiusinternational.org for more information.
