Vision Statement: The Vision of the Buntain Theological College is to see Christ’s mission accomplished in India by equipping men and women for authentic and effective Christian ministry in the Pentecostal- evangelical tradition. Mission Statement: The Mission of BTC is to provide Christ-centred, Bible-based, Spirit-shaped instruction, resources, environment and experiences so that students are adequately equipped to serve Christ’s Church and Mission in India through effective lay and professional ministry and church-related vocations. The objectives of the College are … 1. To equip students in the knowledge of the Word of God and related theological, historical, cultural and ministerial disciplines. 2. To encourage the development of basic spiritual disciplines and spiritual growth in the life of the students. 3. To nourish an atmosphere which will foster Christian character and grow the physical, emotional and relational health of students. 4. To help students develop a commitment to the highest standards of Christian conduct and service. 5. To train students in effective methods of practical ministry in service of the Church & Mission in India. 6. To inculcate national and cultural awareness, values of responsible citizenship and Christian contribution to nation building. 7. To strengthen the work of the Assemblies of God in India, with a special focus on West Bengal and the northern states of India.
